Orange Day Party & Pump It Up Halloween Party

This is going to be pretty brief!
On Thursday Jackson had a fun filled day. We started off with his school party. They weren't allowed to dress up, but they made everything orange to make it fun for them. Later that night we headed to Pump It Up for another party. This one was a dress up party and they Jumped the night away.
Here is Carson and Jackson dressed as Iron man buddies. Carson was Iron man and Jackson was the Air Forces Roadie Iron man.
Jackson being his crazy self
I got this shot of him right after he came down the slide!
Here's what Tanner was doing!

Here is Jackson school party. They carved a pumpkin and Jackson loved scooping the guts out!
He hogged the whole pumpkin!
They had lunch consisting of chicken nuggets, peaches, doritos and orange punch!

We will be heading to Nicole's for a Halloween Party for the kids. I will post more on that later! Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!

4 Months Old

Mr. T is 4 months old and getting so big!
He has his 4 month doctors appointment on the 26th of this month and I will report in on how much this little big guy weights! He is still small, but way bigger then Jackson was!
In the last month Tanner has had the same sleeping patterns. He usually gets up once per night and that's usually between 3:30 and 4:30, but goes right back to sleep after he's fueled up and wakes around 8. So he's pretty good at night. He has a nap schedule during the day, but his naps are always cut short do to Jackson being his loud self.
He is starting to eat less often. We are at 2.5 to 3 hours between each feeding now.
He has this thing with his left leg. He kicks both, but the left one seems to get more exercise. Its pretty funny!
He started sleeping in his crib this month and he also puts himself to sleep. This is a big deal in my book because Jackson would never do this. I always had to nurse him to sleep or rock him. He wasn't a very good self soother. So for Tanner to be able to be awake when I lay him down for bedtime/nap time and put himself to sleep is a big deal! Love it!!!
He has had a couple adventures this month with Jackson and I. I took Tanner to Carmel to meet Mrs. Tonya Harrison on the 27th of September and he also went to Cayucos. So he's ha two mini vacation already!
Last thing! He is coooing a lot and he's almost doing some raspberries. We call him the bubble man because he's always got little bubbles coming out of his mouth!
He is such an easy baby. Just goes with the flow, never quibbles about anything unless he's got a messy diaper, he's hungry or gassy. I have really enjoyed him thus far and can't wait to see him change this next month.

Field Trip To The Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday Jackson had his first little field trip with his class. Being that I am a stay at home mom, I am lucky enough to be able to join him in these activities.
We started the day off late as usual, but got caught up after the class finished learning about where pumpkins come from. (like the kids care where pumpkins come from, just give them a pumpkin and a carving kit and let them have at it!) We went on a hayride around the farm and saw the river, barns and animals. After we were done with the hayride we were pretty much free to feed the animal and pick a pumpkin. Jackson had a ball petting and feeding the animal. He really enjoyed the miniature donkey. I think he even said he wanted to ride it! lol I could just see that going well. It was so hot and we were pretty miserable so some of the pictures below Jackson looks pretty beat.
Here is Jackson's class
Jackson with the donkey. They both look pretty happy, huh?
These next two pictures are of Jackson now and of Jackson the very first time I took him to the very same pumpkin patch. I tried to get the same picture, but like I said it was hot and he was pretty tired.

Headed to the Beach

Last weekend Nicole and I decided to pack the cars up and head to the beach. She brought her mom and my mom and aunt were already heading there, so we thought it would be nice to get away for a couple days. Well, let me tell you. It was more work then a vacation. I was ready to pack up the car and head home the first night we were there.
I love my son Jackson to death, but boy what a handful he can be at times. It doesn't help when he has his little friend Carson too. The were wild monkeys and no matter what we told them or him they didn't listen. I think my next get away will be alone or just Tanner and I.
I don't want to complain about Jackson, but we did end up having a good day on Tuesday. Nicole and her mom took Carson to Morro and we stayed behind to just relax and play on the beach. No shopping for this group. I just end up watching kids instead of shopping! We ended up having a really good time with grandma and aunt Charlene. We had lunch and headed to the beach. Jackson played some in the freezing cold water and found some sea shell. Tanner snoozed while we played. It was nice to have some time with Jackson and run a muck!

Not sure if he was trying to make a sand angel or what, but he was sandy!

We had a good time, but I felt like it was more work then a vacation. Can't wait for our San Diego get away in a couple weeks with Tanner and Jeffrey!

6 Year Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday Jeff and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary! This year is a little low key do to our little vacation planned at the end of the month for a friends wedding in San Diego. We plan on doing something fun there and getting away from the kids!
Last night we went to Red Robin for dinner and treated Jackson to Yodigity for some frozen yogurt! We had a really nice night, I just wish Jeff didn't have drill this weekend. So for the most part it was a nice day!
This last year has brought great change to our lives. We found out we were pregnant just a few weeks after our anniversary;) we moved from Mississippi to Arizona, welcomed a new baby boy to our family, Jeff graduated from UPT and promoted to 1st Lieutenant and now we are back home in California.
Always change in our lives, but this is part of marriage and it keeps us strong! I love Jeff more then words and I am so happy to be married to him!
Happy Anniversary babe!
