Sunday was a good family day! It's been awhile since Jeff and I laughed as much as we did on Sunday. We spent the morning making breakfast and getting somethings in the house sorted, our spare room for one is a mess and we just made the bed:( Why does it take such a great deal of motivation to do somethings? I just don't understand! Anyway, then we took Jackson to the Splash Pad and let him burn some energy while Jeff and I soaked up some sun. Our sun tans are so much prettier here. I don't think I've ever been this golden! Fresno seems to turn me Orange, I guess that's better then being Violet! LOL After that we headed home for lunch and Jackson went down for a nap! Yeah, some peace and quiet!!!!!
We had some free time to relax and get ready for the rest of the afternoon, but that didn't last long! When Jackson woke up we were back at the races. This child has inherited Jeff's energy! I don't remember him being this active when we were in Fresno. Something has changed and I'm guessing it's from being cooped up in the house so much. The humidity is so darn high, I hate to go outside. Poor kid!
Well, we finished off the night with dinner and a walk around the block. Thank God it was bath time cause I know Jackson was ready! And then it was bedtime, YEAH!!!!!!!
More peace and quiet!!!!
It was the best Sunday I've had in awhile!

The Alternative to Myspace
Hello there from Mississippi! I never thought that we would ever live this far from our families. It is the greatest feeling to know that we are 100% on our own with no help. The only part that sucks is that everyone is missing the best chapter of our lives thus far. This is the only way to keep everyone updated without having the expenses of a phone bill.
So far so good! We have made some really good friends and we have only been here for 3 weeks. These are people who are going through the same thing so it makes it that much easier. These will be friends for a very long time! The only hard thing is that they come and go, it makes you value their friendship that much more.
We got here on July 8th and we were welcomed by some insane thunderstorms. (T-storms) Kathy and I were outside with Jackson the first day we got here and the house 3 doors down from us literally got struck with lightning. It was like a Chinese fire drill to get in the house! It was by far one of the coolest things I've seen since the birth of John & Emily's baby.
We moved into our house on the 10th and were settled in by that Sunday. Most of the first days were just getting back into a routine, especially for Jackson. He actually adjusted to the time change really well, but not to the other everyday things like sitting in his high chair. Temper tantrum were also on the list to kick!
I will write more another time! I have more to write about us!
