9 Months Old

My little man is growing up so fast! This was an interesting picture moment. He wouldn't sit still and I think those restraints in the chair will be used next time! You will see what I mean when you see the pictures below! lol
As each month comes and goes I get sad and happy at the same time. Sad because his little body is growing and there isn't this little body that I cuddled months ago. Now that he's mobile, he is such a wiggle worm and doesn't want to really be restricted to my arms. Unless he wants to be held which is quite often. Loves, loves to be held, but not snuggled unless he wants too!
My happiness is for his adventurous self. Wanting to play with his brother, crawling and exploring everything and becoming his own little self. Even though it makes me happy, I am still sad. I want him to stay little forever!!! Just something I'll never have control of:(
He has changed so much in the past few months! I know his hair has a lot to do with it and I should have cut it sooner. I know Jeff would agree on this with me! So our little photo session started out good other then him scooting out of the chair, this is by far my favorite!
What Mr. T has been up to this month:
*Officially sleeps all night.
*Is eating pretty good these day, loves to eat what we have and would prefer our food over his mush! We let him try some things, but limit him.
*Still nurses great and sometimes prefers the milk over food.
*This month we tried STRAWBERRIES! He not only liked them, but did fine! This was a big deal for me due to Jackson having a reaction to it! Now I always have Benadryl on hand and take the 4 days of a new food serious when it comes to this. Especially when it comes to these common allergies. Even though we let him try our food, I still watch what I'm giving him.
*Crawling everywhere and pulling himself up to stand.
*He slaps the top of his hands, alternates slaps on his hands. Good hand eye coordination!
*Talking up a storm these days. Sounds like he says, "my mama." It's so cute and I'm sure he's saying it. He says, "dada." He is also doing the babababa, nananan and he watches your mouth move when you talk to him like he's trying to figure out how to say it. He also mimics us when we do raspberries or clicking of the tongue. He's pretty acquisitive!
*finally got his 2 bottom teeth!
*Loves to play with his toys, especially the ones that have buttons and make noise. He will sit there and play for a while and try to figure it out. I think he's going to be a smart one too.
*He loves to look at books.
*Another thing about Tanner that I just love is the way he moves his hands. When he reaches for an object or for my face he seems to have this gentleness about him. It like he's being cautious and gentle at the same time, but the way he moved his hands, it weird and cute at the same time. It's almost like he's seeing them for the first time. It's slow and cautious, it's weird. I can't even explain it. I just love that about him!
Here he is scooting out of his chair!
This one is super cute too!
At this point, he had enough!
Ok, mom! Take a picture of this! lol
I can't say it enough, but I love him so much.
Both of my boys are just bundles!

A Month In 1 Post!!!

March 14th, 2011
Yep, it's a possum! The other night I was up late watching the Bachelor and when I was getting ready for bed I went to let Bella out to go potty and guess who was crossing the fence!? This ugly old thing! I ran and got my camera and it played possum for about 15 minutes while I shot this picture and tried to shoo it away! Jeff was yelling at me to get in the house before it tried to attack me! lol
March 12th, 2011
I have been wanting to plant flowers for so long now that last weekend I went to Orchards and bought some! My mom came over and we with the help of Jackson planted some flowers! Tanner just watched, but he had a good ole time getting some fresh air.
What else can I say! He had a great time playing in the mud and making tracks with his monster trucks. I was always the mom saying, "my kids wouldn't be playing in the mud!" Now, I really don't care! I just squirted him down when we were done!
Tanner playing in his pack n play while we got dirty!
Jackson playing in the mud!
March 8th, 2011
The day of Jackson's birthday we just had a little party for him! I didn't get to decorate the house and surprise him like I wanted, but I did surprise him with his own cupcake and 2 gifts from just us!
I can't believe my first born is 4!
The picture below this one is of Tanner with Jackson's bows in his hair! He didn't mind one bit!
Jackson's cupcake! He ate every bit of it!
Getting ready to open his gifts! From here down, these are just some random shots I have taken in the beginning of the month! This was one of the boys playing in the kitchen. Jackson loves to give hugs to Tanner and this one I couldn't resist
Poor Tanner is always following Jackson around and wanting to try and do the things he's doing. Like this picture, the poor guy was just sitting and waiting for Jt to get down and play! Jt was to busy playing with his play doh and had no interest in playing with Tanner.
These are the Cherry blossoms in our backyard. I couldn't resist them and thought this picture turned out really pretty!
Ok, last one!
This was the day after Jackson's birthday party out at my dads. Jackson's balloons were floating around the house and Tanner wanted them so bad. I just happened to be folding laundry in my room and was watching him, but thought it was so cute how his little cautious hands were trying to grab the ribbon. He did get it a couple times, but then lost interest.
I am so far behind on sharing our lifes with you, but here it is! Short, but sweet!

More Party Pictures

Just some random pictures from Jackson's birthday party I wanted to add!

Jackson's Batman Birthday Party

These pictures are a little out of order, but I will catch you up on the activities that were taking place!
Last year for Jackson's birthday party it was small and pretty quiet. We were in Tucson and had a couple friends from there and my dad drove up to see us for the week. So Jackson's 3rd birthday was more of a gathering and not a party. So being that we are home and around our family and tons of friends, we decided to go all out this year!
We had a bounce house, large blow up slide, face painter and lots of friends and family! What else could a kid want? Gifts you say, well your right on that too!
This year Jackson got to pick the theme and we did fill in invitations (not custom orders for me on this one) and what did he pick? I know your dying to know!?!?
BATMAN!!!!!
He had a great time and so did we!

Here is Jackson blowing out his candles with the help of Carson and Tyson.

Jackson opening one of his many gifts! This was by far his favorite! Bumble Bee Transformer.

Here is a picture of my dads 2nd backyard! lol This area is off limits to the dogs and perfect for these type of events! I think we will be booking him more often for gatherings!

I am a horrible mother these days! I worked so hard and special ordered this batman cookie cutter and totally forgot to hand out the party favors when people were leaving Jackson's party! So long story short, I baked sugar cookies, decorated them the night before, bagged them in the morning in these cute batman bags and forgot all about them! We came home with a few, but for the most part gave most of them away to the last few guest to leave!

I wanted to share some of the pictures I took of the kids after they got their faces painted! Loretta did an awesome job and the kids loved her! This is one of Jackson's classmates from school and one of his favorite buddies, Tyson! He came to Jackson's party dressed as Wolverine. I forgot to mention that it was a Super Hero Costume Party! Jackson's idea!

Here is one of our High School friends, James! Let me be the first to tell you that he is the biggest kid ever! As you can see his head was covered with all of his brilliant ideas! He had some stuff on there that you can't see, but they were funny. One being a light bulb, some tribal markings and the other stuff you see. It was pretty funny!

My niece Olivia's foot! She was scared, but we got her to do it!

One of my favorites! Miss Hayden looking at herself in the mirror! She was Wonder Woman and a cute one too!
(OMG, I just deleted the picture!)

And here he is, The birthday boy himself! We wanted to thank all of our friends and family who came and helped us celebrate! We had a great time and we hope you did too!

HaPpY 4Th BiRtHdAy JaCkSoN

HaPpY 4tH bIrThDaY bAbY!!!!
Yes, it's true....
Jackson is finally 4! Bring on whatever the 4's have in store for us!
What a year for this guy!
*Finally going BIG potty in the toilet
*Attended Little Gym Classes
*Started swimming on his own (still needs lessons)
*Made some great friends in Tucson
*Became a BIG brother
*Moved back home to California
*Started a new school
*Took a trip to the beach
*Celebrated the holidays with family
*Made some cool new friends after moving back
Despite all the events, Jackson has changed so much. He has learned so much at school!
He can tell me all his numbers all the way to 12 and if I point to a letter, he can tell me what letter it is! (That's if he's not playing dumb!)
He is a super smart little boy and super hyper too! I swear he has more energy the the energizer bunny! He is a really good BIG brother when he wants to be, but has his moments! He's Jeff's little shadow and buddy these days! I think he prefers him more then me now! Even though I know he'll always be my little man!
Other then him being our baby, he is our SUN! He lites up our days and has changed our lives so much. We can't imagine any different and love him to death!
Happy Birthday Jackson!
We love you so much!!!!

Happy 30th Babe!

Happy Birthday to Jeffrey!
We celebrated Jeffrey's 30th yesterday! He spend most of the day doing his chores. He took his A-10 out to fly with some other pilots from work, but the controller didn't work! So he said he needs a new one! He then worked on his motorcycle and truck! It was a real uneventful day, but we did manage to go to his favorite restaurant Yoshinos. We went with Jeffrey's mom Kathy and the Sweeten family. Good times!
We then came home for some cake!
This is the design he got this year. I wanted to get him the princess cake at Costco, but Kathy made me change it! She thought Jeff would get mad. I thought it was hilarious because he wanted to take the left overs to work. I could just see all the pilots giving him HELL over it!
Jeff and Jackson getting ready to blow out the candles!
Make a wish!
Happy Birthday To My Best Friend & The Love Of My Life!

8 Months Old

Well worth the wait!
It's a late post, but just by a few days!
As you can see, he is my smiley boy and always happy. He has had some days where he seems a little more fussy then normal, but I blame it on those gums. When is this little guy going to get some teeth!?
He is growing so much and this last month has brought so much change for Mr. T.
We went to the beach for the day
Started sleeping through the night
Crawling (crawls all over the house)
Eating a ton
babbling up a storm (was saying ma-ma and da-da, but stopped. Can hear more da-das now)
Trying to pull himself up, gets on his knees and bounces
Can feed himself finger foods really good now, have to really watch him now because he can't get them in fast enough!
Loves Jackson's room
Doesn't like Jackson to smother him, not to fond of having Jackson up in his face all the time
loves his daddy
loves to be held and will follow you until you pick him up
His motor skills are great (I recorded him playing with a golf ball, but don't know how to upload it)
What else..... mmmmm
He is such a good and easy baby. He loves attention and loves being with us. We can't get enough of him and just love him to death.
(We've had a couple people we know loose their babies this month, please say a little prayer for them and for those of you who have your own little one's, give them some extra love. We are so lucky to have healthy children and can't even imagine what they are going through. We are thinking of them.)

Random Pictures From This Month

So I am a little behind on this part of my life and tasks that need to be done. I have taken so many pictures this month and I am just realizing that I haven't posted them and the month is almost over. My life is so crazy these days and I forget everything if I don't do it right at that moment. I feel like I'm running around with my head cut off half the time!
We've been pretty busy this month! Park play dates, everyday errands, planning a Birthday Party for Jackson, planning something for Jeff's 30th Birthday and spending time with our family and friends.
Today was a busy day! Lunch with my mom, Toys R Us for some Birthday gifts and Jackson got a cool new haircut (picture below) and to Target for a few odds and ends!
As usual, I am going to write about each picture!
Can you believe that my baby (first born) is going to be 4 in a couple of weeks? It makes me feel old and sad that life goes so quickly and everyone is old before they know it! lol
Jackson with red hair gel and his super cute haircut!
Tanner and Jackson's first actual big boy bath together. It seems like these last few weeks have brought so much change to our life's. I will post about most of them in Tanner's 8 month post, but the boys take baths together now and pretty much will play together. Although there isn't much dialog between the two, but Jackson still enjoys Tanner's company!
He's the Devil in disguise! Have you seen that commercial of that little boy trashing and breaking all of his toys with the Elvis Presley song playing in the background? Well, if you have that is Jackson!
Jackson and Tanner snuggling at my moms the other day. This was the moment Jackson wasn't being rough or trying to roll all over the ground with Mr. T.
Grandma and her boys!
Tanner checking out the rain. He is definitely exploring everything now!
Digging for Gold! I don't think he's hit the jack pot, but I'm sure he'll keep trying!
He had the other one in as well. 2 at a time is expert level!
until next time.......

Jackson's Valentine's Day Party

This Valentine's was Jackson's first actual V-day party! He was so excited and couldn't wait to go to school! I on the other hand felt so bad because I didn't buy any V-day cards for him to pass out at school. I thought the school handout just said bring a treat. Lame! Worst mom award for me!
He survived and still reaped all the benefits of it!
I made these cute little fruit kabobs for the kids! I figured they would be eating enough junk that day and wanted something healthy! It ended up being a hit cause the kids were asking for seconds!
Jackson having a good ole time while the kids were passing out there cards. You could have skipped him and he wouldn't have cared! He was to busy laughing it up!
Hudson giving Jackson his V-day card!
Jackson's little buddy Tyson giving Jackson his V-day card! These two are so cute together.
After all the cards were passed out they had their little snacks!
Jackson being a good little eater.
He had a great time and really enjoyed all the goodies!
We didn't celebrate Valentines Day here at home so this was perfect for him! Maybe next year we will actually be with it and he can participate in the activities! lol

7 Months Old

7 Months! Can you believe it!!!

I'm not sure he's going to sit in here very much longer for me to take these pictures of him. He's trying to sit up and pretty much trying to escape the torture of his monthly picture!
This last month has brought lots of change with Tanner. He is babbling up a storm, rolling every where and getting in to the crawling position, but no crawling just rocking. His eating has changed a little. We are having fruit for lunch and a snack in between dinner and dinner consists of rice cereal with a veggie followed up with some yummy breast milk. Breast feeding is still going strong and despite all of the distractions he still wants to nurse. I have to tell Jackson to be quiet about a 100 times, but he eventually gets a full tummy. He hasn't perfected putting his snack in his mouth himself, but we are working on that! Bella is benefiting from this!
His sleeping patterns haven't changed. Still up once at night for a feeding.
No teeth yet. Jackson already had teeth, so I am wondering if he'll be a late bloomer.
He had his first hair cut. Couldn't handle the hair in hanging in his eyes and his morning Mo Hawks!
So far, he is doing good. He loves his brother so much and he can't get enough of Jeff, but he is still a mamas boy. He tries to kiss me all the time, pull my hair, loves for me to hold him and cries just about every time I leave the room. I don't think I can tell everyone enough what a joy he is. He is so easy and the best baby. He makes me want another one now. We will see on that though! Jeff and I just love him to death. I feel a stronger bond with him. Maybe it's just the second baby thing. Not so stressful and we are so much more relaxed with him. It's just more enjoyable. Not that it wasn't enjoyable with Jackson. You just don't really know what your doing and if your doing it right with your first! Jackson and I have a wonderful bond, but it's definitely different with Tanner. I suppose they can't all be the same!
Here are some extra photos I decided to share of Mr. T in the crawling position. He scoots forward when he's rocking in this position, but he usually does a face plant. Doesn't have the upper body strength yet.
Getting his Monkey
Playing with his brother! My 2 favorite boys, the loves of my life. I couldn't imagine my world without them.
