This month has not only been super busy, but it's almost been madness. From birthdays, unpacking and daily life. We've been on the go and starting to feel run down.
We celebrated Jackson's 6th birthday this month along with a few others. I had made a comment on FB a couple weeks ago that we are boycotting anymore March birthdays! Lol
Jackson's birthday this year was a little crazy compared to the past couple of years. It's just been us and maybe Jeff's parents. Which is totally fine and cheaper for us, but it was nice to have a little shin dig for the very excited 6 year old!
We had family and a couple friends up at my moms and caught up on life and let the kids go crazy as usual!
Here are just a couple pictures from his birthday! He got to spend the morning of his actual birthday with his best buddy Carson. They surprised him with a breakfast out at BatterUp!
After he got home I took him to school and brought the class cupcakes. Homemade with love;)
Later that day we had a BBQ with the Seiler Family and papa! The next day we went up to my moms for his birthday party.
(Pictures are from when Jt got up on his birthday and ending at my moms)

Across the Country 1 last time.......Part I
And it begins.....
My mom flew in to help me with the kids on our cross country drive. I wanted her to see some of our lower states.
Had to take a picture of this sign. Do you really think it holds true to its name? If so, I want to live there! lol
We officially crossed our first state line. T was having a rough time, but got better as we progressed! We stayed the night in Florida before crossing the Alabama border. On our second we crossed AL, MS and headed in LA. It only took roughly 4 hours.
I've seen this sign way to many times! lol
Spent the night here and walked around the French Quarter for a while.
You can't see it, but there was a rainbow over the bridge.
Getting some beignets from Cafe Du Monde, again! These are so very yummy!
They didn't last very long! lol
Thank god we missed Mardi Gras by a week. We were worried we wouldn't even get to see the city again! This was one of the many left over decorations.
Cathedral
It's so funny how we are in the middle of the bible belt, but its the most sexual place other then Vegas. Literally had to cover Jts eyes as we walked by a few places.
Having dinner after our long city walk.We were all so tired, but got to see Corey who is a Fresno guy. He's farmed out and flying with the LA guard.
Across the Country 1 last time.......Part II
This was part of the trip we were dreading.
Texas takes forever to cross, nearly 1000 miles across!
California in roughly 800 miles from top to bottom!
This was at the rest stop right at the boarder. The biggest start I've ever seen!
One great thing about rest stops outside of California, is all the nice facilities. They keep them up and this particular one in Texas had a playground and museum. It was super nice and we stayed for a bit so the kids could stretch their legs.
They were definitely happy to be out of the car.
Finally getting closer and out of Texas
Call me crazy, but seeing this cracked dirt and not swampy mush was awesome. It's actually kind of pretty.
A tiny sand storm, but boy was it windy.
Finally! Closer to Cali!!!!
We stopped in Tucson and ate at my favorite restaurant,
then went back to the AF base and let the kids play for a bit. Then it was back on the road!

We did Arizona in 1 day. We were getting the itch and it made for a shorter last day.

Disney World 2013 ( Part l )
These photos are from my cell phone:
W decided to head to Disney World for the day, especially before we move home to California. We wanted to spend a few days there, but it never worked out for us. Kind of disappointing, but we were thankful for the day.
So this place is its own little world apparently. They have all the parks spread out and to me they have their own little freeway system.

While we were waiting for Jeff to buy tickets, we had a nice lady snap this shot of us. It's rare that I get pictures with the boys.
When you pay they have this huge courtyard surrounded by water. You either take a train into the park or a boat. We chose to take the Ferry. The lines for the trains were pretty long and the boats were moving pretty fast.
Just about to stop and hop off.
Made Jeff stop so I could get the castle in the background.
As we got in the park, we headed to Pirates of the Caribbean.
We did stop and watch a bird show first. T was a little scared waiting in this line. He kept saying go out, go out. Once we got on the boat we was a happy boy. This was his favorite ride and Jt liked it too. Jt kept asking if it was real or fake. lol

After that we headed over to the Haunted Mansion. The lines weren't to long at this point, maybe 20 minutes.

And look who decided to go to sleep. lol Probably better anyway. I think he would have gotten scared on this one.
Jackson and I decided to ride the cars. This was my favorite as a child. He was super excited and wanted to drive so badly. He would have gone by himself if they allowed it. But, mom had to be with him! lol I controlled the gas and he drove, so he thinks. We had so much fun and laughed so much!
This one is probably my favorite, it really captures his great smile. He is such a cheese ball at time and I love it!
Oh look, it Jeff and T again!
The boys loved It's a Small World! I don't think I like this one so much!
Little Mermaid
Aeriel's treasures
It's the Sea Witch... Run
Dumbo and look, it's Jeff and T again!
This ride actually had a waiting area with a restaurant style paging system, so the boys playing in an indoor jungle gym and when our pager went off, we got in a very short line to hop on the ride! I thought that was pretty cool.

Headed out of the park. We were back on the Ferry and headed to dinner.
One last photo op for Jt. I spent most of my time with no camera in hand. I did have my cell phone, but I tried to enjoy the day with the boys and our time together. So the photos I do have are of them or us together.
One last photo of the Castle. The rose garden was beautiful. Probably helps to have tropical weather where it all looks great all year long!
