January

First thing, sorry I haven't posted! There really hasn't been anything exciting this month!
When we got home from California, we spent the first week trying to catch up on sleep and just re cooping.

Jeff is finally done with all of his check rides! He did his first cross country flight to Shreveport and Batonrouge Louisiana this month. Now he is pretty relaxed and waiting for Track Select. Which isn't that big of a deal for us since he already knows what plane he's going to.

Jackson started sleeping by himself this month! Yeah!!!! This was my task for the month and we succeeded! I now just read to him and simply give him a kiss and say goodnight! It took a week for it to be perfected, but in time! He is talking up a storm and the newest word that he says is Tank wu (thank you) it is so darn cute! Grandma B got him to say "please" when she was here in October and I always wondered when those 2 words would come next. we are also working on our ABC's and 123's. If I say A he says, ABC!

Me on the other hand, I've just been working with Jackson and waiting for Jeff to finish his T6 training. This month has been so rewarding for me as a Mom. I have been so patient with Jackson and the persistence that I have put in to teaching him new things has really paid off. I truly see why people decide to have another kid at this age. He is truly a good kid! Other then that, I am just waiting for our next trip to California!

I talked to Jeff about New Years Resolutions and if he was going to make any. He said he doesn't believe in them because they are always broken. Well, I thought of a few things and thought I would share them with you.
*Read 5 books this year
*Attend the Gym at least twice a week
*Get organized

Those seem to be ones that I could do and for crying out loud I read 4 books in October, so why can't I read 5 in 1 year!
I don't have any pictures to share, but check back soon! Jackson has a big date on Thursday! He is attending his first class at the Child Development Center here on base. It's from 9-3 and they will feed him lunch, snacks and he will take a nap! I will post that later in the week!
